Pattonville moves to new reporting for some grades

Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, Pattonville will begin using Empower Learning’s learning management system (LMS) to report student progress in kindergarten through fifth grades. The platform will also be used for students in Holman Middle School’s Pirate Academy and middle school students at Remington Traditional School.

Gross featured for completing Boeing Pre-Employment Program

Ryan Gross, a 2021 Pattonville High School graduate, was featured during the Regional Youth Employment Coalition (RYEC) Signing Day event that was part of this year’s Level Up Youth Conference. Ryan was joined by his mentor - his dad and Pattonville High School history teacher David Gross - to share his experience in the Boeing Pre-Employment Program located at St. Louis Community College.

Varsity drill teams win several awards

Members of the Pattonville High School varsity and junior varsity drill teams won several team and individual awards for their performances at UDA camp.

Both teams earned first place for their home routines, were awarded spirit sticks each night, and were presented Superior trophies for completing their camp routines.

Debate students recognized at national tournament

Pattonville High School senior Mya Harris was announced as runner-up for the 2021 William Woods Jr. National Speech & Debate Association Student of the Year and junior Bryant Ewing finished in the Top 60 in Original Oratory at the National Speech & Debate Tournament.
 
Four Pattonville students qualified for the national tournament that was hosted online this year with more than 6,000 participants. Seniors Jailah Broadway and Harris qualified in Public Forum Debate, Ewing in Original Oratory, and senior Bell Tucci in U.S. Extemporaneous Speaking.
 
The Pattonville High School speech & debate team is coached by English teacher Jennifer Raymond and assistant Lance Allen.
