Feb. 18 performance of "The Little Mermaid" to go on as scheduled

The Friday, Feb. 18 performance of "The Little Mermaid" at Pattonville High School will take place at 7 p.m. Additional performances are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. The performance on Thursday, Feb. 17 was rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. due to inclement weather. Tickets for the Thursday performance will be honored at the 2 p.m. show on Saturday. To learn more about the musical, please visit www.pirateplayers.org.

Virtual learning day for today, Feb. 18

In-person classes are canceled today, Feb. 18, in the Pattonville School District due to road conditions in some parts of the district. All district and school offices are closed. Today will be a virtual learning snow day for students. Students will take part in independent learning activities at home with online teacher support. Teacher’s hours of availability to support student learning will be shared on their student learning platform or via email. Other school and district staff will work from home unless other arrangements are made with their supervisors. All custodians should report to work at their normal time unless they receive other instructions from their supervisor. As an awareness for family schedules, today’s virtual learning snow day will not need to be made up in the future.

Due to anticipated weather conditions, the Thursday, Feb. 17 performance of "The Little Mermaid" at Pattonville High School has been rescheduled to Saturday, Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. Tickets for Thursday’s show will be honored at a 2 p.m. show on Saturday. If you have tickets for Thursday but are unable to attend the Saturday matinee, you can exchange your tickets for any other show for available seating by visiting the box office up to an hour before that performance. Students win the gold in Olympic Reading Marathon

Third graders at Remington Traditional participated in the Olympic Reading Marathon on Feb. 11. Every student read for 10 minutes in the library and then returned to class to pass a torch on to another student in Isabelle Garcia-Blackwell and Christy Hillier's classes. The event is running from Feb. 8 to 17 allowing every grade a chance to participate.

Seven student-athletes commit to schools on National Signing Day

Joined by their coaches, family and friends, seven Pattonville High School student-athletes officially made a commitment to play a sport at the next level during an event hosted in the main gym after school on Feb. 15. This National Signing Day ceremony was originally scheduled to be held Feb. 2 but delayed when in-person classes were canceled due to weather and road conditions.
