Pattonville High School activities director Jason Sellers was named the St. Louis Area Newcomer Activities Director of the Year by the St. Louis Area Missouri Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA). Sellers was selected as the Pirates’ new activities coordinator in April 2020.

Sellers previously served as a health and physical education teacher, department leader and varsity girls soccer coach at Pattonville High School. Before coming to Pattonville, he worked as a physical education and science teacher in the Hazelwood School District.

Sellers holds a bachelor's degree in physical education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a master's degree in sports management from Missouri Baptist University. He also earned his certified athletic administrator (CAA) credential from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
