Board Actions
The board of education on Oct. 12:
- Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s gifted education program; read the report or view the presentation;
- Approved paying $1,087,662.99 for regular bills;
- Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of September 2021;
- Approved paying $418,902.29 for purchases made on the district's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% (or $3,979.57);
- Declared a list of items as surplus to be sold on the district’s GovDeals.com page;
- Approved, in compliance with Missouri State Board of Education procedures, the October 2021 transportation route miles for the 2021-2022 school year;
- Approved a contract between Pattonville and the Special School District for substitute personnel services for the 2021-2022 school year;
- Lodged for action revisions to Policy BBB (School Board Elections); a vote is expected at the Nov. 9 board meeting;
- Approved paying $1,559.50 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
- Approved a proclamation declaring the week of Oct. 25 through 29 as Red Ribbon Week in the Pattonville School District;
- Awarded a bid for the purchase of Claridge marker boards and tackable wall panels for various schools and buildings to Golterman & Sabo for $20,211.77;
- Approved the renewal of assessment subscriptions from Renaissance Learning, Inc., for $92,250.95;
- Awarded a bid for a new Genie GS-2632 scissor lift to Patriot Rentals & Equipment for $18,112.43;
- Approved the proposal for Pattonville Heights Middle School track improvements from Byrne & Jones Sports Construction for $70,595;
- Approved the purchase of seven blower wheels for the HVAC units at Pattonville High School from Trane Supply for $33,313.28; and
- Approved the purchase of office furniture for the technology department from EducationPlus care of CI Select for $11,043.56.
