Board Actions
The board of education on May 11:
- Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district’s homeless services education program; read the evaluation or view the presentation;
- Approved paying $1,210,518.76 for regular bills;
- Approved, subject to audit, the financial statements for the month of April 2021;
- Approved paying $262,006.47 for purchases made on the district’s purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% or $2,541.46;
- Lodged for action the 2020-2021 budget revisions; a vote is expected at the June 8 board meeting;
- Approved the May 2021 transportation route miles for the 2020-2021 school year;
- Approved paying $11,176 to the Missouri School Boards' Association for 2021-2022 membership dues;
- Approved paying $792 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan & Jackstadt, P.C. for legal services;
- Approved revisions to Policy IGBCA (Program for Homeless Students);
- Approved renewing an English learner instruction and management system agreement with Ellevation LLC for $12,787.50;
- Approved renewing an agreement with IXL Learning for IXL site licenses for students for $21,960;
- Approved renewing licenses with Dreambox Learning for $46,286.95;
- Approved renewing the learning management system license and service agreement with Empower Learning, LLC for $23,350;
- Approved renewing a subscription with Naviance, Inc., a curriculum solution, for $25,790;
- Approved purchasing and installing a custom controller and soccer scoreboard for the high school from Daktronics for $27,353; and
- Approved purchasing 97 iPhones 12s for replacement of current cell phones for administrators and staff from ATT/Firstnet for $33,903.
