The Pattonville Board of Education on Feb. 9 approved the selection of Dr. Tori Cain as director of student services, effective July 1. She will replace Teisha Ashford, who will serve as principal of Pattonville High School.
Cain currently serves as principal of Parkway North High School. She previously served as an assistant principal at Parkway North, Park Hill and Lee’s Summit West high schools. Prior to her administrative roles, Cain worked as a science teacher at the middle and high school level. Cain holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and general science and a master’s degree in general science, both from the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. She earned an education specialist degree in educational administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a doctorate degree from Saint Louis University.
“Dr. Cain brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment for helping all children succeed,” said Dr. Tim Pecoraro, superintendent. “With her strong instructional and administrative foundation, she will do an excellent job supporting Pattonville students, families and staff in her new role.”
